First U.S "Jetman" Will fly through Grand Canyon

The swiss aviator, engineer, and PopSci favorite whose jet-powered wing has carried him all the way up to the English Channel and Lake Geneva, is planning to fly for first time in history , through the Grand Canyon on May 6. The exact ubication of Rossy's flight is yet to be revealed, but we do know that it will take place in some spot near the western Grand Canyon, for this incredible deed Rossy flies a novel jet-powered wing of his own design that straps directly onto his back, his body serves as a kind of rudder to control the thing, and provides thrust via four small engines.Even that the engines power is significant, is not sufficent to take Rossy over de ground, so he has to climb to elevation on board of an airplane, before jumping and going airborne.

That means that the Friday 6 of  May, will be the day in which Yves Rossy will take the step to make a sea-change in all airborne career. Dont even think about missing it.
