• What happens to the electronic waste produced by the United States?
A big part of it, is not recycled and it is send to Asia, China in particular. And the little part that is recycled, does it in a very primitive process.

• What happens to e-waste after it arrives in developing countries?
They are recycled in a very primitive way, in which the main objective is to obtain the worthy metals this products have.
To do this they burn the E-Waste, and this is done with any protection equipment, so people is constantly exposed to toxic elements.
• Why does so much e-waste get shipped to Asia?
Because in China there is a settled market, in which people sell the worthy metals of this e-waste, although they don´t have the infrastructure to prevent the import of this e-waste, so in other words this import of e-waste sometimes, is illegal.
• What are the negative effects of dumping e-waste?
It pollutes the air we are breathing in a global way, and also it is affecting the health of lots of communities. And it also affect the water system. 
• How do the toxins in e-waste return to the United States?
In some of the children jewellery, because the same plastics that are burned in Asia or India are used for this toys, which are actually toxic.
• What can concerned citizens do about e-waste?
They can start asking to the companies to sell electronic products, to create a payback system for used electronic devices, or get in contact with specialized enterprises to recycle this e-waste.

Life in Nazi Germany 1933-9

1) How did Hitler try and encourage marriage as soon as he came to power?
  
"One of the earliest laws passed by Hitler once he came to power in 1933, was the Law for the Encouragement of Marriage. This law stated that all newly married couples would get a government loan of 1000 marks which was about 9 months average income. 800,000 newly weds took up this offer. This loan was not to be simply paid back. The birth of one child meant that 25% of the loan did not have to be paid back. Two children meant that 50% of the loan need not be paid back. Four children meant that the entire loan was cleared."

2) According to Nazi ideology, what roles did men and wome have?

Nazi ideology stated that according to the law of nature men and women should carryout different and separate roles.
Women in Nazi Germany were expected to:
  • Give up employment once married.
  • Have children and look after them.
  • Care for the home and their husband.
The Nazi party constitution excluded women from all senior positions within the organisation. From 1933 onwards, women were excluded from jobs in medicine, law and in leadership posts in the civil service. The number of women teachers was also reduced.
A cap of 10 per cent was put on the proportion of women attending university.

Dear Mr. Besoain.

I red your e-mail and I understand yor concern, but don't worry because im writing you this e-mail to clarify some points in which you shuld worry about or not.

First of all there is something clear, every sngle addition is bad, so i would like to give you specific techniques to reduce the amount of hours your son Felipe is spending on a game console.

One effective method is to create other productive distractions for your child, it is extremely important, to present them in an atractive way. I recommend the company of a pet, in this case a dog would be very apropiate. For a child playing with a dog is a very enyojable activity, and it has may positive effects, it does an amazing job on calming your boy and make him more responsable.

Another technique is to make him understand violence isn't right out of the video games, you can achieve this by using real experiences in wich violence resulted in smething badfor him or for someone he cares, remember always to dont mention things that may be traumatic.

Letter to the editor

Dear Sir:

Based on your statement, I must say that my opinion towards the increased number of third culture children, is someting positive.

First because this premature exposure into other culture, can result in a more comprehensive and respectful child, specially to other cultures, nevertheless, this method has to be always accompanied with the constant support of their parents, so that they don't feel uncomfortable with the new culture they are exposed into.

In addition, I would like to show my point through an example. In The Mackay School, there are several children coming from different countries and cultures, and every single one of them has used elements from his native culture to have an advantage in this new culture. In fact Filip Morris, a new student of The Mackay School, with only ten yeas old, has eficiently used the skills he learned in his native culture, Australia, to be selected to present a brief comment about St. Patrick's day.

In conclusion, I think that the existance of third culture children, can b aways positive for them and fo society if they have a good parental support.
