Second Letter "Living the 30's"

Dear Granny

In this opportunity I have really good news!

Finally my dad could find a job, of course he wont earn the same amount of money, of his last job, but it’s a great help, and more so, because of my incoming little brother.

His job consists on taking care of corn crops, my daddy told me that maybe if he does a good job, he can became a foreman. My mom is still working in her pie’s business, unfortunately not with the same success she had years ago.

When I become an adult I want to work as a teacher, at least dreaming is free.

We all miss you.
With love you grandson.

First Letter "Living the 30's"

Dear Granny

Today I am writing you, because it seems that nothing can be worst, dad is not having good luck, so we are moving to Lost Creek, now we live in some type of adobe building, is very small, dusty, and cold. But at least we have a roof, now only remains to pray for strength and patience, it seems that mom will never lose faith.

The good side of all this, is that now is easier to bring food home, my daddy is teaching me how to manipulate the shotgun, we use to hunt, but I prefer by far to fish. The neighbourhood is as poor as us, or maybe more; But the most of them are really good persons.

I hope you’re fine and grandpa too, maybe when this entire situation be just a bad remember, we can visit you both. Until then.

With Love your grandson.
